Iain & Ishbel, your Host and Hostess, are confident that you will enjoy our first class service, quality accommodations and reasonable tariffs at our guest house hotel.

I have to warn you that Iain, (that's me) can be quite cheeky and neither of us takes life too seriously - so expect a fairly laid back and entertaining visit!  I like gadgets - so our free internet access, laptops, LCD TVs and DVD players in every room will come as no surprise. Oh, and be ready for a bit of banter at breakfast!

I spent 33 years in the Royal Navy mostly as an electronics engineer - and latterly in middle management - pushing a mouse around for the most part!  Ishbel worked for the Clydesdale Bank and carried on part-time until 2002 when she retired.

We have been in this business for 13 years now and still really enjoy our second career.  This is reflected in the reviews on TripAdvisor.

As we have no staff, you can rest assured that everywhere will be spotless as we do all the cleaning ourselves. That goes for the laundry as well - all the sheets etc are washed and ironed in house.  Ishbel actually finds ironing therapeutic - I find that very refreshing!!

I'm afraid that I am a registered computer geek - much to Ishbel's annoyance, but I have to be seen to be doing something while she is doing the ironing!
