From Glasgow airport follow the M8 to the Erskine Bridge over the Clyde and follow the A82 along Loch Lomondside to Arden (do not follow the signs to Helensburgh at Dumbarton - stay on the dual carriageway!). Turn left at the roundabout on the A818 to Helensburgh. Sinclair House is on the right before the first set of traffic lights near the bottom of the hill. If approaching from Dumbarton on the A814, turn right onto Sinclair Street (A818 (B832)) at the first set of traffic lights in the centre of town. Sinclair House is on the left just before the first crossroads after the third set of lights. Look out for the large vertical B&B sign on the edge of the building.
Please Note: Due to major gas pipe works between Cardross and Helensburgh (1st April 2010 - 31 March 2011) you should avoid the A814 and stay on the A82 turning onto the A818 at the Arden roundabout until further notice.
Many Guests seem to get lost circumnavigating Glasgow! Please note that you should exit the M74 at junction 4 onto the M73. Keep to the left lane onto the M8 (towards Greenock). For those coming via Glasgow International Airport, also take the M8 towards Greenock. In all cases leave the M8 for the Erskine Bridge and follow the A82, bypassing Dumbarton, until you reach the turn off onto the A818 (but is probably still the B831 leading to the B832 on most satnavs & maps). Look out for the large vertical B&B sign on the edge of the building.
