Laundry may be possible at £3.50 per 5Kg load - depends on how busy the machines are on that particular day! (You'll have to do any ironing yourself however - we have enough of our own to do - iron and ironing board supplied!)

A trouser press (currently in the flat!) is available on request. So far only one guest has ever asked for it! (Plus one other who asked just to make this page!)

Complimentary pay-as-you-go mobile phones (cell phones) are available for guest use if required. For USA Guests - there is no charge for incoming calls you just pay for the outgoing calls! Just return the phone with starting credit or pay us for credit used!

Our extensive DVD library (some 450 films and music videos), includes a fair number of Region 1 titles. more often than not, these are released well in advance of their Region 2 counterparts. I have to be reasonably selective but I like to think that we have most of the popular titles. Obviously all the DVD players are multi-region.

Current Projects
Room 2 refurbishment complete including new bathroom vanity unit and WC. Also new desk and bedside tables for Room 4. All rooms now have LCD TVs (2 in rooms 2 & 3).
Microsoft will be releasing it's Home Server product sometime this year and this may facilitate streaming movies to your (or the room's) laptop. Wireless won't cut the mustard so either wired Ethernet of Ethernet using the mains may be the way forward.
Update: Home server now installed but as expected not enough wireless bandwidth to stream movies - need 802-11n - watch this space...................
